Italian Citizenship & Genealogy Services was founded in Davis, California in August of 2002, in response to the serious lack of information on the Internet about the process of applying for Italian citizenship. For many years, the only option was to take multiple trips to the nearest Italian consulate to get specific instructions on preparing and submitting an application.
